Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by RealReels to answer common privacy questions about the RealReels app. It describes what we collect, how we use it, and the controls available to you. It is not a certification or a legal contract.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: email, authentication identifiers, and (if you choose Google sign-in) the basic profile fields Google returns.
- Content you submit: prompts, uploaded images and videos, and generated outputs.
- Usage data: generation history, credit ledger entries, plan/subscription status, and basic device/browser info needed to run the app.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We store subscription status and customer identifiers, not your card details.
2. How we use your information
- To render videos and images you request and deliver the results back to you.
- To operate accounts, credits, subscriptions, and billing.
- To enforce our content policy (blocking prompts that violate our safety rules).
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
3. Third-party processors
We rely on the following subprocessors to operate the service:
- Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, authentication, storage.
- Replicate — video and image model inference.
- Google Gemini — motion prompt analysis for Motion Match.
- Stripe — subscription billing and checkout.
- Google — optional OAuth sign-in.
Prompts and uploaded media are sent to the model provider needed to fulfill your request.
4. Content and moderation
Prompts are screened for nudity, sexual content, and slurs before they are sent to model providers. Blocked prompts are not processed. You are responsible for the media you upload and the outputs you download or share.
5. Retention and deletion
- Generated projects remain in your account until you delete them.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.
- To prevent abuse of the free tier, the email address used for a deleted account is placed in a 12-month cooldown before it can claim another free credit.
6. Your choices
- Update or delete individual projects from the Projects page.
- Manage your subscription through the Stripe customer portal.
- Delete your account and associated data from the Account page.
7. Security
Access to your data is protected by authentication and row-level security policies in our database. Admin actions are logged. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep the app safe and up to date.
8. Children
RealReels is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
